Title: Climate control backlight bulb
Post by: omegaman on 07 January 2007, 19:42:45
On my Omega it has the 'Climate control' set up rather than the traditional Aircon system.

It works fine but one of the bulbs has blown behind the directional control one.

I'm told this is quite common.

Its really annoying at night time, is it easy to fix? I'm guessing a bulb wouldnt be much to buy but how do I access the back of it to fit it?

Change all 5 bulbs so you don't have to do it all again next month...

i have the same problem...bulb gone on passenger side display...

but today, it came back on....

then went again, so mine aint the bulb...wonder if it could be a loose connection of something?

not keen on taking apart as i am a bit of a flid when it comes to that kind of thing!

Could well be poor connection - they are twist and turn type bulbs and rely on it making a good contact with the pcb
