Title: damn alternator

i dont believe it i think my alternators gone ,battery only charging up to 12.07 v battery light was coming on when keys wer out of ignition ,now its on all the time,any one got any tips on removal :(

Can be removed upwards or downwards.

From top you need to remove air intake 'bagpipes', hose clip on filter, two on throttles, 1 on idle air pipe. 2 or 3 10mm nuts and carefully work the whole lot out, disconnect wiring and vacuum pipes as they become accessible.

From underneath you will need to put on ramps or jack up. Remove under tray.

Disconnect battery
Remove aux belt...15mm spanner on aux tensioner pulley, push clockwise to get enough slack to release belt from water pump.
Un bolt alternator, torx head bolts, hex nuts. Top bolt is a bit of a grope in the dark.
Undo main cable 13mm and warning lamp wire 8mm.
