cant attach the centrecap to my F/N/S wheel, even with brand new fitting kit (tool was missing when i bought the car) it seems the threads are missing from inside the wheel.
any ideas how i can re-attach it? thought about using a tap set, but am worried it will make it too big to take the bolt.
thanks
Rob :y
p.s: how can i get rid of the damn annoying "Brake Pad" MID warning, the only side i have done anything with was the F/O/S wheel which does not have a wear sensor attached (was disconnected at the coupling to the back of the arch lining.)

to get rid of the Brake Pad warning your going to need an old sensor.
Could get one from a scrappy, plug it in to the connector at the back of the arch, then cut the wire, and fuse them together. Insulate with tape. Job done, press the brake pedal warning will go away.
But sensors are about £8 each, so could put some on anyway....

With the centre cap ii sounds like the threads are stripped so tapping may not help but its worth a try. Brake pad warning Had the same problem with mine so i just linked the wires together at the plug now MID is clear :y
