Title: A Bit Of Advice
Post by: molliemillie on 06 June 2007, 18:53:46
I am a newbie, also a newbie to Omega.   My husband purchased a 1995 Vauxhall Omega 2.0 16v GLS Estate a short time ago but we are finding it is to big for us to be honest. Nice car though.  We are thinking about putting it onto EBay but wondering what price we should be expecting to get.  Hope it is okay to ask this kind of question but would be grateful if anybody has any ideas.

Depending on condition and whats been done to it recently....bout 300-500 i reckon....GLS spec so not many toys....tho estate does help it.

Ps.....this type of question should be in the general chat area, just so you know next time  :y

As TaxiDriver and sirmoanalot said. Problem is that when it comes to this sort of money, small issues can make a big difference in price such as condition externally and internally, mileage, MOT, etc… so look for cars as smiliar as possible to yours. I suggest you look mainly at prices from private resellers, both on eBay and on AutoTrader.

Obviosuly there is always the option of keeping the Omega and become a permanent member here...

Hope this helps.

Hi Again

Just wanted to say many thanks for the advice, it was greatly appreciated.

We have finally put the car onto EBay, it does have a problem with the starter so we have put it on as spairs or repair. Was not really sure what to do but put it on at a low price.  If anybody is interested in having a look the Item number is 190150712801.  I hope it is okay to do that.
