ok, new problem.... the front door kerb lights are inoperative ;D the rear ones are working fine. there is no voltage to the holders too... are the front ones on a seperate fuse to the rear? originally tried new bulbs though.
strangest thing is that the interior light still comes on so can only assume that its not the door switch.
any ideas?

I seem to recall the front door switch being a multicontact affair.....one for the interior light and a second for the kicklights/warning buzzer.....so check the door switch

I have exactley the same problem. Front doors only. At the same time the illumination of the rear heated window switch went. Fuses are fine and bulbs in the doors are still fine and the door switches seem to be operating as normal. Also makes no difference if you open the passenger door.
I have no clue where else to check. :'(

If an early model Check F1 (30A)
If later model Check F20 (also works heated seats), are the rear ones working ok?
As thought, it is a double contact switch setup....
For fuse designations, check out the maintenance section....
