Title: Should I or shouldn't I?

As some of you know my omega sprang a sizeable coolant leak on the way to work yesterday morning.

Now I have ordered a HBV as that seems the likely cause.

Now with the plenum off and with the gaskets, cam seals a full set of 3.0 cams, cam locking kit in my conservatory shall I go the whole hog?

New hbv, 3.0 cams, 3.0 throttle body, new cambelt kit, new aux belt, new water pump?

If I do this is there anyone willing to help me? And anyone with a vauxhall trade card who can help me buy the belt kit and water pump?

I'd help but 1 - I'm a bit far away and more importantly 2 - I havn't got a clue what to do  ;D

By the way...the 3.0 and 2.5 throttle bodies are the same size.....

I've taken my time a fully cleaned the throttle body that came off the 3.0.....butterfly edges...breather routes etc

Just noticed I dont have the O-rings for the rocker cover bolts and payday on the 31st so the cams may have to wait for a few weeks

I can help with TC for anything that can be posted... unless you're down in the SE and can collect?

My work gets me near three Vx dealers when I can buy TC bits, these are Sudbury in Suffolk, Brent Cross/Staples Corner in North London, and Gillingham/Rainham in Kent... are you near any of those?
