OK i admit i expect some things not work properly at -20 but this is really making me angry, some times the indictaors work and sometimes not, when the car is warm no problems, but anything below -5 and they stop working.
:'(
But after 5 km later they start working no problem. today they stopped completely. A small green light on the dash comes on then after a few tries mucking about with the indictors they work then stop.? any ideas on what the problem could be or what i can do to find out? oh they work better when the windscreen wipers are on,
other than that i love my Omega its a 2 litre 16v estate and i got from germany and i live in finland, and of course i red-lined it on the Autobahn 220km/h and still got taken over by a power deisel golf :'(
cool forum i have lots more questions after this as well :D

Welcome to the forum.
Do the hazard indicators work when it's cold?
If they do it could be the indicator relay/solenoid.
Had a similar sort of thing on my wifes clit.

the hazards lights do work better than the indicators but they also sometimes fail, but work when the windscreen wipers are on......

Not much global warming where you live then :-?
Spent some time in Berlin, coldest winter I've ever experienced.
Anyway, its forecast to be -5 here in the Midlands of England tonight, thats cold enough for me.
Doesn't help with the indicators though, sorry
Welcome to the site by the way

Could have a bad earth somewhere, as the battery is less efficient in the cold.

I have a suspicion about the hazard switch. Know anyone else with a Omega that you can 'borrow' a hazard switch from to try?

Next time they dont work, turn the hazard switch on and off 5 times and report back if it' fixes it'.....
