I have a set of the Halfords Torx 3/8 sockets, and while they are OK they can be a bit limited in their use ie on the throttle body assembly - V6 - the correct size socket won't go on the bolt as the socket fouls the housing before it goes on the bolt properly. Plus they don't do one big enough for the Omega's crank shaft pully - been there on a Sunday afternoon part way through the job cos I thought I had one the right size. I still haven't bought one  :-?
Something like this set (http://i20.ebayimg.com/03/i/04/19/c8/10_2.JPG) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRAPER-35381-14-PCE-SET-OF-FEMALE-TORX-SOCKETS_W0QQitemZ290084948344QQihZ019QQcategoryZ30917QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) that has 1/4" 3/8" & 1/2" would probably be more useful

The Machine Mart set is better...and has the E24 for the crank:

Only asked for size -  you assumed socket not bit.

Still sorry I never add bit - but it was urgent

Sorry , Sorry  :-/  :-/
