Im starting to get fed up with it again!!
Its been doing this every morning for the last 2 weeks now :(
Ok....start it from cold in the morning.....runs on petrol fine for a fews mins...then switches to lpg....idle is lumpy and it misses more than usual....after about 10 secs like this the EML comes on (it has always had a lumpy idle when cold on lpg as the norm....but EML has never come on before)
You can rev it gently and it revs ok....doesnt miss....soon as you let it idle it goes back to being lumpy....this still cold tho.
After about 10 mins EML goes out.....but its warmed up by now
Its always hesitated when you floor the pedal....even when hot....on lpg....and i have noticed now it slightly hesitates if your floor it even on petrol....from idle this is.....if its already got some revs it doesnt do it.
Ive read the codes several times....and nothing to pin point it......just the P1700 and P0700 that always seems to get stored...even tho i keep reseting them :(
Would a dirty throttle body cause this??
Background info.....its done 7k since having the plugs and air filter changed...so dont think this will be the cause.....
It did cross my mind....that the cam cover gasket is leaking again and a plug well is filling up with oil again :( ......i will check this tomorrow :-/

This certainly sounds like a misfire from a flty lead or plug, possibly due to oil in plug hole, hopefully NOT dis pack,,

hi there, thing you will need to add a little more detail about your gas system before it can be diagnosed, however I can suggest that the throttle body will have nothing to do with it, LPG feeds through a diffrent route either a mixer ring at air intake or multi injection goes directly into inlet manifold so really don't think the throtle body will effect your gas system, have you had your gas system tuned or managed on a computer recently ? what gas system is fitted ? does it have a partical filter?
only things that I can think of at the top of my head without all the info

Hesitant on petrol
Check the plugs first of all, then the breathers, do you have an LPG filter fitted?
You may need to ask the installers about a filter or cleaning out the gunge (the stuff which makes the smell)
I hope the DIS packs are OK

Its a sequential system...multi injection....lpg is feed into inlet manifold via 4 injectors
Ive got a single coil pack.....its a 4 potter 2.2 ;D
Breathers i cleaned about 2/3 months ago....they wernt bunged up then.
Dont think its got an lpg filter.....never seen one :-/
Just been out in it....carnt find my manual for it....what does the red circle with the exclamantion mark in it mean? Floor it and at about 4/5k revs this light comes on....take your foot off and it goes out?????
I thought it was summat to do with brakes??....but i wasnt touching the brake pedal.....it did it 3 times....everytime when i floored the pedal....get to 4/5k....red light on and goes off when i lift off???

(O) with a ! in side the O ??
handbrake on,
or brake fluid low.
or clutch fluid low.

Yep thats the one....i found my book this morning.....its handbrake on or low brake fluid.....ive topped it up.....altho it wasnt below min mark......and i would have expected it to come on when braking if the fluid was low......not when you rev it over 4k :-/
I havent been out in to see if topping it up cured it yet tho.

Ive read the ECU codes this morning, as i havent done so for a about a week.....
Im getting P1700......i ignore this one
P0170 ....mixture too lean/rich.....which i would possibly expect as its on lpg
But i also have a new one.....ive never seen before
P1130.....which is O2 sensor 1 signal out of range??
Could this be causing the lumpy idle when cold when on lpg??
I have had a look for an air leak.....and had the pipe off between the airbox and throttle body....definately no splits in it that i can see

Have you got any seepage around the throttle body gasket?
i.e. does it look brown / dirty?
We are talking about idling on petrol?

Seepage?? :'( The throttle body is very dirty/oily.....noticed how bad it was when i took the big air pipe off this morning...and the top of the throttle body where the big air pipe goes is wet with oil ..... would this be causing it then ?? :-/
Its very slighly noticable on petrol....very noticeable on lpg
Just had a look at your throttle body in the maintanence section AA......yours look postively clean compared to mine.....and you havent cleaned yours in the pics :-[
The inside of yours looks pretty shiny clean on the inside walls.....mines all black on one side of it!

Job for one day next week then :y
Anyone know about the P1130 code?
Is that an O2 sensor dying? :-/

Not necessarily. Could be a failed lamda, but could also be the ecu is ignoring it based on other factors (throttle not moving as expected/air leak/misfire etc etc)

Ok thanks.....i think next step is clean the throttle body and fit new gasket.....
One question tho about the butterfly......i noticed in a post by Mark.....tho this was for a 2.0 he mentioned making sure the butteryfly is fully closed.....i noticed mine wasnt this morning......you can push it fully closed but its springs back to a bit open....is this normal on 2.2??
Cheers
