Title: Where does this bit go?

I cleared out my scuttle drain last weekend and after I'd put everything back together I had this rubber strip left over:

Can someone tell me where it came form please?!  :-[

surely it's part of the soft closure mechanism from your snap-on tool chest

Looks like the bit that sits on top of the bit of metal on top of the pollen filter to me - just kind of snaps in from behind and goes downhill towards the edge of the car (passenger side)

I agree, pollen filter sort of area, had a look at mine.
