Title: Mystery Vac pipe in engine bay
Post by: evanh on 10 March 2007, 17:20:45
Just after changing the rocker gaskets and sorting out the mess of vacum pipes , managed to get everything in the right place following the diagram in the maintence section, however there is a slightly larger vac pipe that comes through the inner left wing along with the petrol pipes that I have no clue what its for or were it goes, anyone know were it is supposed to go?

That sounds like the one from the carbon canister to the emissions control valve. It's the bright one going down at 45 degrees in the pic below. It connects to the left side of the valve (with the blue plug) and the valve outlet goes into the center right inlet on the black ecotec thing on top of the plenum. It's bright and shiny on mine because it's new.
