Title: suspention
Post by: goonerman on 20 March 2007, 22:08:34
HI I did the back disc's and pads at the weekend and found I had oil over one of the shock absorbers and both had lumps on them like rust under the metal so that will have to be the next job before the MOT. But what do you think about lowering the car?? or stay standard.  :-X
And what should I be looking for, :-?
I have never done this before and would like to get it right.
Have tryed the web ut with out much help seems to be about £500.00 to do the lot a bit over what I can aford.

by the way it is an Elite 1997 with all the bits and I want to keep it for two years min so spend a bit know and it will do me.  :y

I got Bilsteins, 158 for all 4 delivered.  Supposed to be in Friday so that I can do them this weekend.  Can't say more until then.

I would look at replacing springs too. If lowering don't go more than 30mm.
