Ok, the MID on the 2.0, bringing up all sorts of warnings due to lack of sensors.. coolant.. oil... brakes.. etc etc....
I can't be arsed to go around the car and fit the sensors.. I want a quick fix, and believe there is a way of shorting certain pins on the MID to prevent these messages? Can anyone tell me specifically what pins to do what with.. to get rid of the errors...
A 2.0 that does 21mpg is stupid... As soon as the Elite is on the road.. it will be on fleabay quicker than you can blink....
I reckon it should go for a fair price, what with the leather and MID etc...

The button is there in his sig silly! :P :)
Would I be able to defeat the HID warning and jacked coolant sensor that way?

Cheers! I guess that I ground pin 20 for the coolant, but do you know what should do with pin 29 for the HID's? 12v or ground?

Theo, on your Elite, as you will have the coolant sensor, I would have thought it would be easier to short the pins on the loom going to the coolant sensor.....that shuts the mid up too :y

Sorry for delay.
For coolant, do as TD says.
For HIDs, find ECU, and try to do likewise
