Hi
My headlight motors don't seem to work properly when i take them out of the headlight unit they work but still not properly on the switch its got 3 heights but they only work on number 1? when i put them back in the headlight they dont work at all! STRANGE any ideas? Do they need oiling? this is the second lot ive had.
they have been second hand though

Are you hooking them into the white piece that kinda sticks out from the silver insert?

When you put the motor in the lamp what position was the roller was it on 0,1,2 or 3 at first.
With the motors out do all 3 settings work, if so set them to zero and then try refitting them.
Could it be a loose connection or are you firmly clipping the connectors on.

when i re-newed my headlamps I found that the reflector bodies had broken just were the arm fits.
its the grooved bit that the plastic rod from the motor slides into.
you are aware that the rod from the motor 'slides' into the groove on the headlamp reflector DO NOT force it in...IT IS NOT a 'snap-on' fit
