hope not :(

How Tragic,
I too hope its not one of Us
-
Hope it is not one of our members involved in this tragedy.

:'(Whether it is or not, its still a tragedy that claimed 3 lives. Very sad either way. Perhaps a message to us all about the way we drive our beloved Miggys
-
Sorry, but I'm a cynic. People I have met on this forum may drive fast now and then, I do, but I haven't met someone here that is idiotic enough to go so fast in town that hitting a bus in a large car kills most of the people in the car.
Not everyone that drives a miggy is the type of person to be on these forums. We are connected here by our miggys, but we are not connected to EVERYONE that drives a miggy! I agree that it's sad, and we're a bit sensitive to crashes right now with McRae, and everyone should re-evaluate their driving style after seeing or hearing about wrecks, and we should be worried that some wrecks might be people from OOF, but worrying about everyone that drives an extremely common car is more than I am prepared to do.

Very sad news the first thing to go through my mind was how safe in a crash is an Omega, because I thought they where meant to be pretty good in a collision, three occupants killed! then I read on, they hit a bus, and it sounds like they where not wearing seatbelts as the police could not acertain who was driving because the passengers had been "thrown about"
-
From first hand experience of being in a crash in an Omega I can assure you they are very strong.
I do question though, what sort of speed must the car have been doing (bus was not moving) to kill 3 intstantly and have them moved to such a degree that the police were unsure of the driver??
Another pointless waste of lives....

Got to be no seatbelts.
I have been involved in two Omega crashes - they are safe!
-
Reread - no seat belts!
Pillocks >:(

hmmmm, no mention of airbags, & I have to disagree that omegas are common, I can drive about in my home town & not see another one all day. The secret to good driving is knowing when it is safe to go fast.
