Title: Need to confirm Part number..

For 2.6 omega (y26se engine)

Water Pump 93170697   - apparently its nearly half retail price when on tc. Have i got the correct info.. :-/

Do i need to buy anything else whenbuying this ? ie new rubber seal will be included wont it ?

That is correct.......and it comes with the seal which should ahev a little grease applied to it before fitting....

£20 odd thats a cracking price - had one in my watch list from vauxhall parts warehouse ( there usually very very good) then i remembered it was on Trade Club  :)

Guess it'll be a different part though for X25XE engine.

2.5 or 2.6 v6 should be same one  :y

2.5, 2.6, 3.0 and 3.2 all use the same pump....

Incidentally, I used multi-purpose grease rather than oil on the air intake O-rings under the plenum (and also on the red intake bridge rubber gaskets), my training from 20 years ago says this is what you should do, no idea if this is still considerer the right thing or if it makes a difference anyway...

I used silicone grease which is supposed to take higher temperatures than normal, not sure if that's right though.  :)
