Hi, I've just bought a 2000 2.5TD to replace my high mileage 97 model, the new car idles roughly when the motor has warmed up (feels like its running on only 4 cylinders).
I've checked the fault codes to find code 96 stored. This apparently means the EGR valve. Does anyone have any suggestions what this actually means - do I need to replace the valve, the electric actuator, or can it be a problem of the vacuum pipe between the two (or something else...)?
Any suggestions would be most welcome (I see that PALMO had a similar problem in January - was there a solution - the thread doesnt indicate anything).
