Title: Sunroof & Window programming
Post by: Pitchfork on 21 April 2007, 19:42:53
I heard somewhere that it was possible to program the Sunroof & Windows to close automatically when the remote door lock was activated
Is this true, if so how's it done?
(if your name is Bill Gates I don't want to hear from you!) ;D

its on an autoclosure pack, dont know much more about it ie where to go to get it set up

I remember a meega on ebay, or possibly on here, with a half hour cold start feature that basically runs the engine for half an hour without the need for the keys, in order to warm it up and clear all the windows and stuff in winter.. theft proof by means of automatic cut out if you step on the brake pedal when its running without its keys (car was an auto)

now THAT i'd pay money for!

Press & hold the lock button on the key untill everything is closed. I thought you could do this with all Omegas - could be wrong though.
PS When all else fails read f***in' manual?  ;) ;) ;)

Press and hold lock button, or hold key in lock position in door.  Certainly all Omegas with Alarms have this function.  Not sure if it exists on the c/l only cars...

It probably is the alarm function, as on my wifes 52 plate Astra you can close the 4 electric windows (no sunroof fitted) from the door but it doesn't do the same thing from the key fob.  :-?

Sensors at the top of the B posts or at the side of the centre courtesy light.
