2002 2.6CDX oil is getting into the coolant system heads have been tested and new gaskets but still oil getting into coolant.

Easy one....oil cooler failure....its an oil to water heat exchanger sat in the bottom of the valley....

Did you do the headgasket change your self......if it was a garage they want shooting as that is VERY poor diag on their part...

For completeness....consider the follwing for headgasket failure on thsi engine type...
A head gasket has passing through it...
a) A single small high pressure oil feed to the heads, which is a good distance from anything else
b) A large quantity of pressurised coolant, all around each cylinder...
c) A quantity of low pressure oil return passages...
d) The cylinders.....these go from a vaccum to high pressure dependent on the point in the cycle...
So, thinking about the above, a headgasket failure would normaly result in
1) Consumption of water plus pressurising of the coolant system (most common failure symptom)
2) Rough running if the gasket fails between cylinders and no coolant loss (rare)
3) Water in the oil
It does not generally result in oil in the water........water is it pressure and the high pressure oil feed is small, well sealed and a reasonable distance from anything else.....its no oing to come from the oil return passages as they are at approx atmospheric pressure.......VERY unlikely.....

3-4 hours work for somebody skilled and just over 100 quid of bits at trade price....its important to get the right items......

My 2001 2.6CDX suffered an oil-cooler failure, very common problem, luckily this was at the end of the third year so was covered by Vx warranty. But it failed as early as 25k miles / 3 years... so low mileage or FSH are no guarantee against it. Proper regular flushing of cooling system and use of correct coolant (Vauxhall Red Antifreeze 50/50) is absolutly crucial on all V6 - but even so the oil coolers do fail sometimes...

Just to confirm what others have said, oil cooler. If a garage have already changed HGs, never use them again, as they obviously struggle technically with Omegas.
Oil cooler is DIY able, bit fiddly, and don't bend those oil pipes!! £90 for the kit, plus other washers etc bring up to around £100. You will be constantly flushing the coolant daily for a couple of weeks, so antifreeze costs on top of that...

No, they are technically inept and not able to follow a reasoned diagnostic approach.....not good on ANY car....
