Hi,
Does anyone have a picture walkthrough of where to clean out? I've given the valve itself a full can of carb cleaner and it made a slight difference but its not clearing everything
Cheers,

What are the symptoms, as that much should cure the ICV, unless its too far gone, in which case new ICV required...

Hi,
Was dying at idle all the time, blast of Carb cleaner cured that, still running slightly rough at idle, and when I boot it it takes a while too pick up, also sits at 1200rpm when I start it till it heats up after 5 mins or so
Cheers,
Iain

1200 rpm seems a wee bit too high to me, during warm up, if you slightly touch the throttle, does it progressively step lower revs until reaching propper idle?
Also, do you get any flat spots during gentle acceleration? Wondering if it's a HT problem more than anything..

Hi,
Doesn't really step down till engine has warmed up, even under load, flat spots on acceleration when cold, doesn't seem too bad when warm unless I boot it

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) can give these kinda probs too... Test with a multimeter for smooth prgression ressistance readings... Never done one on an Omega before, so can't advise any further..
Maybe try swapping yours for a spare one to test...
Sincerely hope this helps

Hi,
Any idea where the TPS is?

On front of engine, centre , on right hand side as you look into the engine bay, on throttle body, the plug is facing you..

If idle is slightly erratic, remember to check for air intake leaks. This may cause higher idle as well...
Also, check that some muppet hasn't tried to mask the ICV problem by adjusting the butterfly stop.
