could anyone advise on how often should the air con gas be checked out, my miggy is a 2002 dti gls, it has never been done, is there a tell tail sign when it needs doing.

Idealy it should be serviced every 3-4 years...

Thanks for that, the car is due a service in another 1000 mile, I will get it checked then.

Yes, you no longer get chilled air coming from the vents ;)
