Could anyone advise please. Over the past few days I have noticed that a few of the LED dots do not light up on my display screen (The one that tells you the date time etc) this problem is not there all the time, just now and again, is the screen coming to the end of its life.
2002, 2.2 DTI

Sounds like it is starting to go.
There is a repair guide, but you may want to let it get a little worse before attempting it.
Other option is to get a replacement Screen (MID), but be aware if this is from a different engined / gearboxed car than your own, it will need re-setting up using tech 2.

Is it new style MID (computer lines above radio display) or older style (computer lines below radio line)?

It has clock/radio info at the top, warning lights underneath, no display.....like an omega gls
