Title: Whats this for.....and who's noticed?

On my facelift.....

There is a slotted type thingy in the interior light cluster in the roof by the rear view mirror.

Outa interest i prised the interior light cluster off.....obviously youve got the wires for the interior lights....plus the wiring for the internal alarm sensors (ultrasonics).....but there also wires going to what looks likes a sensor behind this slotted grill.....so whats it for?

Discounted a senor for the climate.....coz ive noticed theres one there as well on my veccyC and that hasnt got climate.....just plain ol air con.

Any ideas?
