Title: Genuine Vauxhall parts????
Post by: john1dart on 10 May 2007, 14:44:05
Thanks to everyone for the advice for the work I've got coming up. Does anybody know where I can source genuine Vx parts off the shelf in West Yorkshire, Rocker gaskets and O-rings?

Any Vx Dealer obviously or Autovaux (Wakefield) may be near you. They sometimes provide genuine parts (need to ask)

I have bought genuine Vauxhall rocker gaskets/o rings and black sealant direct from Autovaux..prices better than Vauxhall  and prompt delivery...give Kieron a call on 01924-376003....he charged me £14=95 for each rocker gasket/10p per o ring/   all plus VAT and £2=50 next day delivery...give him a call...good luck with it

Double check they are genuine when they arrive - Autovaux have a habit lately of promising genuine, but sending 'equivilents'  >:(

Indeed they do - you need to ask about each item you are orderring.

I ended up with GM water pump,  SKF timing kit (ok I think) and Elring cam seals (jury is out, but they needed surgery to install).

Oh yes - and an aux belt that caused by tensioner to sound like my cat was caught in it. :(
