Title: astra sri mk5 alloy wheels
Post by: OMEGA VXR on 15 May 2007, 10:42:25
Hi all

Ive seen a set of 18" alloy wheels on ebay they are off a mk 5 astra h sri (5 stud) does anybody know the offset? i want them for my omega, so would they be ok?

what size tyres would i need? i know this is vital to keep the speed as accurate as possible or something along those lines!

Thanks

Lee

they will go on no problem chances are offset wont be much different to omega ones anyway......... :y

as for tyre size.... working on 235/45/17's which are fitted to 17" alloys on omega - for the 18's you would need 235/40/18's the differnce between these 2 is only - 0.3% or 1.9mm in diameter.....as 17's are 643.3mm and the 18's would be 645.2mm...... so these are basically the same.

infact if your speedo was 100% correct to start with ........... 70mph would be 70.21mph with the 18's :y

hope this helps and doesn't confuse :-[

the fitment, offset and bore for both astra (5 stud) and omega are 5x110, 35-45, 65.1

if its the wheels i just looked at in leicestershire at £420 (at the moment) then they're really nice, how much do you intend on paying? there's good chance these will go for over £600
