Title: Idler arm suppliers
Post by: malcy on 06 June 2007, 13:28:49
Hi,

I have been an avid reader of this forum for a long time and got a lot of really useful advice, including full details on how to change the wishbones, trackrod ends and ider arm on my 1998 2.5 CDX Omega, all of which need doing before the MOT next week.   This is the first major piece of wear and tear on the vehicle in the 10 years that I have owned it - not bad.

The FAQs indicate that an idler arm can be sourced from ebay for around £30, but I am unable to find a supplier.   Has anyone bought one recently, and if so from where.

As a secondary question - can someone please tell me what the Vauxhall part number for this item is - this might help in my search?

Wow - 2 minutes and I have all the information that I want - thank you very much.   I had been searching for an idler arm, and not a steering arm as the ebay page lists this part under - I would have been searching forever!

Thats the sort of service you get when you join a decent forum made up of individuals who want to help and are not in it for the money. :y

A big welcome to the forum and pass the message on. ;)
