Many thanks to all those that helped me this past week..
At VERY LONG last my car is all sorted.....Air Con AND ongoing heating problem..all sorted.

The main thing, the heating was down to a blokage that only a mechanic could budge and a valve needed replacing.

Bit of a game...but sorted at last....SO !

A 98 2.5 CD cost £800 to buy and about £1200 to get back into A1 condition..both mechanically and bodily..

Tis been a bit of a game, perhaps an over expensively one....but hopefully well worth it.

A blockage? Where? In the coolant or air flow?
