Title: Omega mechanics lancashire
Post by: wazzajnr on 05 June 2007, 07:38:13
Anyone know a good omega mech around lancs area. I don't mind travelling a bit to find right one. my last meggie had a timing belt changed by local mech and it never had the same grunt afterwaqrds.
Got a few jobs want doing but can't really do them myself cos i don't have a garage or drive where i live and it's no fun working in a car on a main road!!!
Also would like to have 4 wheel alignment done, where's best place for this.
How much are rear shocks (self leveling) for a 1999 2.5 elite?
Hope you can help.
Thanks all
Paul

Well the stupid idiot didn't use a timing kit then, or if he did, was too incompetent to use it...

Probably didn't use a kit then and has retarted or advanced the valve timing too much. Lining up the pulleys with the cam covers is a VERY rough guide only on the V6's...

I wouldn't have said unless you asked, but I offer a UK wide Omega Repair service here, and a great rate to have me for the whole day! Engine wise I'm competent enough to take almost anything, including timing belts (set up correctly!), I can usually significantly undercut most garages etc, even including travelling costs.

The only things I don't like working on (on other people's cars) are brakes and suspension.

PM me if I can help....
