I am going to install cruise control in my 2001 2.2CD and understand from another post that this is quite easy to do.
I have managed to find the correct indicator stalk, with the controls, but need to find someone who can turn this on in the ECU.
Does anyone know if there is anyone, other than the VX dealer, in Cornwall who has the kit and the knowhow. If not what do I need to ask the dealer to do?

Hey, thanks for the reply. If you really want to spend you holiday fixing cars for idiots like me it would be great to meet. I am in no rush so if I don't get anywhere I will let you know.

Ooohh thats near St Ives, our favourite place in the world. We are going there for three weeks in August, towing our caravan although because we live so close I don't feel too guilty about towing a van :-[ In fact we don't take the van out of the county so I don't feel guilty at all ;)
