Hi as you may have read, i have more problems than neccessary with my mid, I have bouht 3 now, all are as bad as the one I had originally. My one has a yellow and black plug.
Is it possible to get one with a grey plug to fit the a yellow plug???
Is there a way of rewiring it???
I have been offered one with a grey plug for a fiver, its in perfect working order, just need to know if its poss to do this.
Anyone ever attempted it???

Never tried tbh. You're right though, the yellow/black plugged ones are prone to losing lines of pixels. The grey connector MIDs also have 2 extra functions - trip distance and trip consumption. Also, they have 10 digits for stereo, as opposed to 8 (and not all stereos can be reconfigured for 10 digits.
