sounds like the lock motor has seized in it's deadlocked position, I'm guessing the fob button wont open it either??
if you can get in through another door and climb into the passenger seat, lock the doors off the fob and then start the car, this would pop all the doors unlocked, if the driver's door still doesnt unlock, i'd say the lock's goosed

I'm pretty sure you can turn the lock using the key it may need a little force and you maybe worried the key will snap but it should turn. Have you tried a little WD40 in the lock.

Tricky one eh?
Cant get the door panel off with the door shut....
The pull handle wont open if locked, seized or not, runs on a different cable/rod.....
The only way i can see is to pull the button up, stuck or not, try and get the pull button off, should come of easy enough, then grab the metal rod with pliers or mole grips, and give it a good tug, that should do it....
Good Luck. :y :y :y

LOL, looking at your email, don't you have contacts ;)
Just to confirm, does it lock/unlock from remote, or is that not working either? If it is 'stuck' in deadlocked position, key in lock should unlock but be very stiff...

I totally agree with you. The driver door (and trunk door) can be opened by key using "a little force".
But how to lube a locked door using WD40 ?
Good luck!
