Managed to talk my brother into doing a door repair and paint job on my car whilst I'm on holiday next week. Question is, how easy is it to remove the window drop glass rubbers to allow rusty door top rectification, then replace the same seals and look as good as new?
Is it easier just to rip them out and replace with new or can careful removal save a few quid by replacing them after? Is it worth it as the seals are mega cheep anyway? (doubt it ;D ;D )

The seals are not that cheap......start at the A piller and ease the end up in small incriments, once its raised a little, you can use a long thin screwdriver to wiggle it out as you work along the strip.
You trying not to bend it as you go.

I would like to see the results, as I have the bubbles on every door. If he does a good job then......... ;)

Must make a quick visit to a scrappy with a sh*gged 'Meega tomorrow to see what can or cannot be accomplished with care and work on mine based on what I find........
