A couple of weeks back, when we had a week of Summer ;D I put a can of R134a into the system (I know it goes off weight really :-[) as it didn't really get very cold. It now gets nice & cold as you'd expect, however, whether it's my imagination or not but the inside of the car doesn't now seem to be able to maintain the temperature set. I always used to set it at around 19/20 deg but it's now blowing too cold, so you turn it it up a couple of degrees 22/23 and very soon it feels too warm :(. The Senators had a little fan above/behind the glove box that sucked cabin air across thermistors in each foot well so it knew how hot it was and could tweak the temp to suit. Assuming the Omega has a similar set up where will I find the fan please? Guessing would suggest the little vent looking thing on the 'wooden' centre console! :-/
Suggestions please.

There is that sampling vent in console (fan may have failed), and I believe (but would need to check), one in each side vent....

It ran!? I'll live with it I think. See what it does in the colder weather, will it keep me too warm or too cold.
PS How many lamps should there be on the back of the console. The 2nd 'dial' from the left (Auto/Off/Small fan/Big fan) isn't lit with the ignition like the others, but does illuminate with the lights. I've just seen 4 lamps (2 green & 2 black) 2 light with the ignition & the other 2 with the lights.
PPS It was very handy of whoever repaired my radio in the past to have written the code on the makers label! :-? :-?
