Title: Misty
Post by: omegalyn on 20 July 2007, 11:15:34
Hi there,
I have noticed lately that the windscreen mists up more than usual, this weather is not helping I know but it gets worse then I put the fans on full to demist for about a minuet then starts to clear very slowly. I have cleaned out the scuttle drain, and I don’t think that I am loosing any coolant. I have been doing other jobs, e.g. cam cover gasket to stop a leak at the back, but now I have a leak at the front, Bo#*@cks. Been out in this rain so long I think I’m growing fins.
Thanks
Lyn.

2 other things to check re misting - check pollen filter is dry, and check the cubby hole in boot, driver side, is clear...

i used a wet and dry vacum cleaner then pushed one side of the plug out at the bottom of the of the cavity and not had any problems since, i used a lond flat head screwdriver and just gave it a bit of force
