Title: MPG out of a 3.0l

I have seen quite a few times people asking how many miles to the gallon 3.0l do........

I get 23.8 knockin about, but yesterday afternoon decided to go to Llandudno, set the cruise control to 75mph (a good job as there was a nasty Welsh Copper sitting at the bottom of that big bank on the A55 with his Speed Camera pokin out the window >:( ;D) and off we went, did the usually getting lost  ::) in the town...  when we got home looked at the mid computer it read 29.7 mpg :y

Well pleased :)

I do think though the faster you go the better mpg you get ;)

I average 25mpg day to day over 2000 miles. Mainly windy A roads, but little chance to boot it.

On a run, if I reset FC, low 30s

From Llandudno to Chester is great and was at 31.6 .. but from Chester to Massive there are loads of roundabouts and speed cameras so you can't get going then you see the numbers drop, The Range bit amazes me at Chester was at 412, when home 358 :-?

Still good me thinks for a big car :y

My range has shown over 500 before :D

LMAO, I was in Llandudno as well yesterday

shame i didn't have the mv6 for back up the rhualt hill....but the 2.2 still hit treble figures :)

Yup, that was a 'cruise on, set to 130kph' trip up and down France...
