I now seem to be facing another problem.after excessive rateling noise i took the car to one of these exhaust places and had it checked over he told me the cat converter has broken inside and thats what the noise is.how can i double check on that ? is the noise a good tell tale sign?I know when it comes to MOT time in January it may or may not pass, estimated cost was £200.Any cheaper options? Can any one help please.
