any good places to get parts from in the south west parts neede

o/s/f wishbone
steering idler
front discs and pads
cambelt kit

any help out there in the hours of need much appreciated

vx main dealer and trade card, [particularly for items 3 and 4  :y

Wishbones on E-Bay are as good for the price as you can get, compared to Main dealer........  Usually £40 is for the pair.  May as well do both at the same time then get steering redone the once rather than two seperate.  Best read the howtoo for the ins and outs of best way to do it.

Steering idler - again, e-bay unless you can get a trade card.  They are about £25 trade club, I think for genuine, pattern parts can be got for less.....

Discs and pads - recommended hereabouts is VX genuine, rather than Lucas or whoever.....  Its circa £70 plus VAT for the axle kit of two front discs and brake pads on trade club.  Recommended around £100 plus vat.....  2 litre may be different. (just managed to blag genuine sealed set of VX discs/pads for my V6 for £50 off e-bay, so seek and ye shall find.   :y  )

Cambelt kit is £90 plus vat for the V6 and varies between and £30 and £80, for the 2.0/2.2 dependant on engine number and type. (yes, thats on trade card as well   ;D ....)

Idler, ebay
Discs/Pads - genuine from dealer, esp with tradeclub. I've had lots of trouble with pattern ones
Cambelt kit - dealer with tradeclub

Just that TB and I pointed the chap in the correct direction for each part, forewarned with parts numbers and possible prices!   :P
