I was just about to start the task of cleaning my breathers and to fix the split pipe I had when I saw this:
Not totally sure how easy it is to work out from the picture, but the larger pipe coming from the ICV has a smaller one branching out from it and it is at completely the wrong angle and has been doubled back on itself and has broken and is only just hanging on :o
Looks like I'll have to replace the whole lot, what problems could this have been causing? also does anyone have a part number and an approximate price please?
Thanks!

Would cause an air leak after the air-mass meter.
New hose likely to be expensive...tried a breakers?

I have sort of the same problem, where the smaller pipe joins the bigger pipe the joint is not sealed all the way round.
Would it be ok to use a silicone sealent to fill the slight gap, like say a windsceen or bath sealent, so should be air tight and flexible :question.
Thanks,
Pete :y.

Well I've just been to the breakers - a 5 min walk away and they only had one Omega and 2 of us tried for 15 mins to get the bonnet open but failed! Not sure what to do now, has anyone got one from a car that they're breaking?!
Cheers!

Ah thanks for that! suppose it can't hurt to have another ICV?!

No Probs,
Was thinking of buying it myself but my pipe should be easy to fix as only come adrift slightly where it joins the bigger pipe :).
