you have 3 fault codes:
12 = Initiation of diagnostic check
16 = Knock Sensor 1
19 = Incorrect RPM signal from the Crank Sensor

Hi,
I have recently been sussing this out, so maybe able to help...
The first code 12 is the diag test, this just means its getting ready....
The second one 16 - Knock sensor 1 No change in voltage
The third one - 19 - RPM signal (crankshaft sensor) Incorrect signal
That is what i think they mean, going by the site that gives the information, no how to fix them i dont know, but am sure someone will be along shortly to figure it out for you..... Sorry but i can only suss the codes so far.
Thanks, Mark. :y

Nah, I just type less words as I'm stingy with 'em.

thanks boys, massive help :y

Change the crank sensor as a starter.......and check the knock sensor cables for damage.
-
where is the knock sensor? looked in the haynes manual but cant find it, I bought a crank sensor for my 2.0 omega but never put it on, do you think it will be the same and do you think it could make my car missfire under acceleration or could this be the coilpack?
-
hi,look at page 4A.6 knock sensor on driver side engine block.rev car up if missing at about 3500rpm definetly crank sensor knackered. :y
-
19 - failing cranksensor, change it, it WILL let you down.
16 - often caused by damage to lead, as sensor itself reliable...
