The current TC book says
2.5/3.0 to engine no 08300418  pn 93188674
2.5/2.6/3.0/3.2 engine no 08300419 to 08578511 pn 9201887
2.5/2.6/3.0/3.2 from engine no 08578512 pn 93172354
So its not the same pn as youve got, maybe old stock that's been superceeded with the new pn.
Wonder if someone with EPC could check this out for you?

[edit]From TBs post it looks like youve got the early type there, are you sure this is correct for your engine no? I've got a 2000 MY 2.5 and that uses the middle one so check with the engine numbers.[/edit]

Some of the different kits can be interchanged by replacing the backplate.  I think the the earlier 'D' and the 'EB' can be, but someone needs to confirm this...

If it can be swapped, use your old backplate, transfer the new pulleys to it.

If you want to buy a new kit you need to supply your Eng.# to make sure that you get the correct kit :).

And your one is supposed to be the '01' one?

I think the D and EB are freely interchangeable, but to use a EB kit on a 01 requires you to swap backplate.  Just hoping someone can confirm...

Just watched the relevent section of the excellent cambelt change DVD, and it says the unit is not interchangable, but unsure if this means purely as a unit (and swapping backplate will be OK), or if completely different.

Marks_DTM_Calib will know, but is not around for a few days.

Can't help you on this one - apart from suggesting to call the stealers and ask the questions you're asking here - (omit the ebay bit though ;)) You may be surpised and get the answer from the horses mouth as they say - some are quite helpful
