As a new boy just whated to know what make of air filter you guys have in your Omega . I have a ITG panel filter which works well and have had the car re mapped by chipped uk, Ha :yd the print out and it show that it is runing with 244 BHP and had a starting amount of 237BHP..Run it on Opamax from Shell all the time .

As for the filter, I use the GM one that Vx supplies.... did run my Astra on k&N few years back, but I am getting to old for this sort of things... ;D

yes, its flashable, so easier than old ecus.

Yes... it's a very very large chip though called 'V6 Engine' and goes instead of the little chip called '4-pot'... ;D

I believe the genuine Vauxhall paper one is good anyway.

yes, its flashable, so easier than old ecus.
From a technician's point of view I can see why re-flashing an ECU is easier than programming a new chip and then replacing the old one (which sometimes also requires soldering), but from a consumer point of view it is probably easier to order a modified chip and replace it yourself rather than take your ECU off and post to be re-flashed - apart from the fact that the car will be grounded for the duration, you also risk Royal Mail loosing your ECU in the post.... ;D
