This time its now developed a missfire. I give up, I can't work out whats wrong with it!
Can anyone recomend a good garage/mobile mechanic near Milton Keynes that could have a look at it?
If not, anyone here want to take a look for tea/beer/money? (delete as appropreate!)

Example:
Say's V6 cam belt kit supplied & fitted for £250.00.
Which is a lot cheaper than dealer quotes

As I said earlier, Jim Grayson in MK has an excellent reputation if you are getting nowhere, and does seem to know these engines well.....
Do NOT use those muppets at Evans Halshaw/Crownhill Vauxhall - they are incompitent.

From ~15 years experience of having to take company cars there, I agree with this sentiment. >:(
They used to be know as Cowboy & Wilson... ;)

Paperclip test done-

145 - Might have something to do with the power sounder being removed :)
19 - Crank sensor; would that make it run like a dog?
How do i change the crank sensor then?

145 is immobiliser, seems to be code that never seems to erase itself. Real prop is the 19, so change it immediately.
On V6, its just near oil filter. 4 pots hide it behind ac compressor.
-
4 hours later- crank sensor changed, oil changed, fliter changed.
still runs like a bag of poo.
HELP!!!!
-
Did you do the earlier advice, and check for oil in spark plug wells?
-
yup- nothing. next logical thing to do is change splugs, leads and dis pack i guess...

What is the condition of the plugs?
-
seem ok- no oil or soot
-
probably worth visually inspecting DIS for signs of delamination (may have to remove to inspect fully)

Take it to Jim Grayson....
