Title: Front door keeps

I have an annoying drivers door keep, the bar that slides in the door cracks like mad when opening and closing the door have even brought a new repalcement from GM white greased it up and still the flamin thing cracks and clunks away,, anyone experiened this before, how did you overcome it ??

Me thinx all omega owners have experienced this. Good news is that it's the cheapest and most simple fix ever.
Buy new bushings (probably less than 30p each in the UK) for the hinge. The tiny yellow bits you can see where the bar meets the body. Remove bolt and bushing and fit new bushing. Refitting is the reverse of removal.

Had not thought about changing these bits good shout, are the Vauxhall only parts or can the be sourced else where ????

Hi yes they are VX parts, part number 90462823 about 21 pence each
Try doing a search for crack of doom on here and have a look at that
