Very easy ,remove cam belt cover, unbolt securing bracket of sensor and unplug.
Just check the plugs are the same on old and new ,I seem to remember when I did mine they differed and I had to solder old one on to new sensor.

Yes, easy enough. Cambelt cover has to come off to get to securing bolt IIRC.

If the car has an unmodified one fitted you will also have to splice in the harness to the existing wiring, but still fairly easy to do.

He has decided to leave this sensor until the weekend when the bloke who owns the car is gonna be about lol. We just changed the lambda sensor and can already hear a big difference in the running . the eml light is still on so the camshaft sensor obviously does need doing as well . When doing so does he need to loosen off any belts etc or is it just take off front cover and change sensor then replace cover . Sorry to be a nuisance but better to be sure before starting lol.

should take about half hour to an hour to do. don't forget though get modded sensor!!! take aux drive belt off then take cam belt cover off. you don't do anything with cam belt. its a torx bolt to remove sensor it's between the two cam shafts.
