Title: Rev drop problem

hello there i was wondering if any one had any idea what is causing this

if i am cruising along at about 80mph then accelerate it goes up to 85mph the the revs drop by about 500 revs and then pick back up again.

can any one help :question :question :-/

What sort of revs is the car running at at that speed?

if i have got my foot down it is at about 4000 revs then goes up to 4500 then drops back down to 4000 then carrys on back past it untill it changes gear it only happens between 80 - 90 mph

4000RPM is just when the Multi Ram cuts in.

i dont think so because it is in third and the changes into fourth later on

It explains the operation of the Multi Ram, i'm just wondering if there's something not quite right on yours. It seems a bit coincidental to be at that rev range....
