the heating was working fine today until i connected it this evening
-
Did you have hot and cold before you refitted the vac pipe :question

I suspect if you follow that pipe, it goes all the way to the main vac line, rather than where it should (baulkhead)
-
yes i had hot and cold before i attached the pipe
-
just disconnected that pipe and now i have heat! and also air-cons working!
im confused!!!!!!!
where the hell does this loose pipe go?
i cant even get to the HBV as its buried!
Grrrrrrrrr

As said previously, check your vac hoses against the diagram in the Maintenence Guides section.
-
Or, try checking your vac pipes againts the diagram in the maintenance section. ;)
-
Need to check the water connections to the HBV, the upper of the two outputs connects to the bulkhead, lower returns to the engine. Reverse these connections and you get poor a/c cooling and no heat ( if vac is connected)
-
just looked at those pictures on maintenance guide, it was like reading Arabic! sorry!!
no wonder my Air-con is not as cold as it should be, and now i hve 1 pipe hanging loose again
christ nose what kind of condition my vac pipes are in
-
Sounds like a severe case of "if it ain't broke................"
-
Hope you don't think I was being too flippant in my previous post - my turn will come. I currently have no heat, so maybe I'll look for a hose that I can disconnect and leave hanging in mid-air.
Oops, there I go again being flippant.
