Title: stupidity
Post by: miggy on 28 September 2007, 20:53:55
What about this smoking whilst driving malarky.

How the hell will they police that one

Is it lighting up whilst driving, if so, and I got stopped I would say I stopped the car and lit up.

What a load of pugwash, it will be car radios next.

I say, sod it, I WILL smoke whilst driving and take my chances, I have smoked for 25 years or so and NEVER had any accidents or come close due to smoking.

Idiots

Did not think radios was on there, these prats must have nothing else to do.

They must go into the office on Mondays, sit down with their coffee and think, what stupid idea can we think of this week to P*"S off the motorist.

IMHO these people are complete Di"*heads, I would love to sit down with these people and have a real heart to heart with them. >:(

What's next, no talking to the driver from the passenger's, (just like the buses) Wait.......... that happens now with the wife on board.  ;D

Like others, I will continue to smoke, eat, drink (not the alcohol stuff) tune the radio etc as long as the manufacture's provide, ashtrays, cupholders and stereo's. All safely of course.

Except the police are too busy in the 'nick' doing paperwork whilst the streets are patrolled by PCSO's with less powers than a special constable.  :-/

Right, I'm off for a smoke in the Westfield. When they stop me I'll tell them that it's OK because I can steer it with the throttle 8-)

Our local hospital has now asked all members of staff not to smoke whilst wearing the hospital uniform wherever they are as it gives the hospital a bad name and as health service employees they need to set a good example.
