Title: 2.5v6......she seems a little slow
Post by: nen3906 on 04 October 2007, 14:20:15
I need help !!!
    I have a 2.5 V6.....she seems a little slow on the off......
As I pull off in Drive she seems slow and takes a little time to drop down a gear if at all......but does respond after approx 3500rpm....
She does drive alot better if I driver through the gears....1,2,3 etc.....

Any ideas ?

Thanks

I have exactly the same....the front one is ok....but the rear one doesnt move at all....

What does this one do ?    Is it the multiram that is broken, or an associated part.....what does it do ?

Cheers

Any lights on the dash? Does the box change smoothly when you change gear driving?

Check the multirams then, as suggested.  Do a search, plenty of info on the site about them :)

Ive found them now....the front works fine.....but is the rear one......it doesnt move at all (well the arm thingy doesnt)
How do I check it.....is it the ram thats broken or an associated part that feeds it ?
