Title: Failed MOT, headlight low
Post by: Doughboy on 05 October 2007, 12:51:37
Hi guys, my o/s headlight is aimed too low. Is there any manual adjustment on these? On the mot sheet it said 1.6 low.

Bloody exhaust failed aswell, lol.

You can manually adjust them but to get it bang on will be difficult to do.

Best off doing the exhaust take back for the re-test then bung them a 10nr to do with the machine (if they won't for free?)

The adjusters are just above the glass allen key IIRC.

I thought that was them, they dont seem to do anything though. turning them but the aim stays the same. This was a new headlight fitted by Vx after a smash about 18 months ago.

Good question, they have on orb shaped lens if thats any use. Discovered i was turning the adjusters the wrong way  :-[

Almost got it matching the height of the n/s, just a few milimeters in it.

The adjusters need a lot of turning to adjust a tiny amount
