How do you get the scuttle cover off?

Pretty sure this is in your Haynes manual..

remove wipers
remove screw on drivers side end
remove 7-8 screws under windscreen rubber
unclip cable from underneath
wriggle it out.

No screws under the windscreen rubber, they are plastic clips, simply turn through 90 degrees and they wriggle out.
Have to pull off the bonnet sealing rubber to release the scuttle.
